- This
course allowed me to explore my critical thinking skills. Through exploration
of research and the construction of my own perceptions of what it means to study two different fields and then use them in
analyzing a problem. I explored how the problem at hand must be analyzed individually
by each discipline and then using critical analysis skills one is able to find the most beneficial solution to the problem.

- Within this course, I was further able to define my ability to critically analyze situations. I was able to construct a research project that measured both qualitative and quantitative information.

401 Applied Interdisciplinary Studies
- Through
125 hours of internship with Southwest Human Developments Family Builders program, I was able to apply my theories in the
fields of Education and Family Studies/Child Development as well as critical thinking skills to real cases. Through written assignments for the course, I was able to analyze the information I was taught and contrast
it to the real world situations I was in when interning. I was able to further
tune my critical analysis of situations to benefit the individuals I worked with.

402 Senior Seminar
- In
the Senior Seminar I was able to look at myself and how I as an individual function with in my chosen field of study. Through self-reflection and analysis, I was able to identify ways to enhance my effectiveness
in the workplace.
