Education is a vast area to study. I have focused on Educational Psychology, the study of how people learn. This area is very important, as it not only looks at how people learn but what may be the best approach in teaching an individual.

Educational Psychology 303 - Human Development

  • This course allowed me to explore the physical, social, emotional, moral and physical development of a human. 

Educational Psychology 310 - Educational Psychology

  • In this course, I explored how the mind remembers and learns. I also explored my own career development.

Educational Psychology 313 - Childhood and Adolescence

  • This course looked at the relations between individuals’ physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development and their psychological and school adjustment based on age and environment as well as development.

Multicultural Education 446 - Understand the Culturally Diverse Student

  • In this course, we explored the diverse experiences, both personal and educational, of the individuals in the class. We drew on these experiences to better relate to the diverse students in the classrooms we could be in the future.

Special Education 311 - Orientation to the Education of Exceptional Children

  • In this course, we looked at the differences in needs of children within the educational system. Approaches to teaching and the teaching environment were explored.

Social and Philosophical Foundations 301 - Culture and Schooling

  • In this course I looked at the difference in a variety of cultures within the United States and how individual environments are set up to teach children. The course focused on the benefits of students experiences based on their exposure to appropriate educational system.
